Very Fun! Race Promoted for Women! Bring the Kids!

It's a Race, a Social Gathering and a New Years Resolution all in one!

The race categories are as follows:

Kids 2.5K - Boys and girls up to 17 yrs

Women's 5K - Age groups 12 and up

Women's 10K - Age groups 12 and up

All races are "Freestyle" (ski in whatever style you like). Races start at 10 a.m. but we will have separate waves to accommodate the older junior boy racers so that women and girls are on the course at separate times.

Bib pick-up and race-day registration

Bib pick-up and race-day registration will occur at the trail head - look for the signs! Please note that bib pick-up and on-site registration will be open 8:45 a.m. until 9:30 a.m.

Categories/Fees

2.5K Kids: $5 online, $10 day-of (Kids 11 and under race for FREE!)

5k & 10K Women’s: $30 online, $40 day-of

Race Location

Hyak Sno Park located off of I-90, approximately one hour’s drive east of Seattle. Take Exit 54 off of I-90, go right and at first stop sign, then go left. Continue straight until you see a sign to the right for Hyak/Ironhorse trail. Go right and continue until you come to the parking lot.

Important Note: You will need a Sno Park Pass (with the additional sticker for groomed trails). This may be purchased day-of at the Hyak Sno Park or online.

Race Course

A fun and fast out and back course on the WA State Ironhorse trail (very flat terrain): 1 lap = 5K, 2 laps = 10K. The kids 2.5K will be held on a loop course.

Prizes

Finishers will receive a lollipop and race bell, plus a chance to win a door prize! There will also be awards for the top 3 finishers in each race. Historically, we have been able to provide very generous prizes!!!

Food and beverages

We will provide energy food and drinks for all racers!
