October 12, 2009 1400 Columbus Day
Our first snow fall of the year at pass level is happening right now. Its so light I am not even able to take an adequate picture to post.
Current temp is 31.3 degrees....

It started raining fairly hard this morning, but over the last 45 minutes or so it has switched over to snow and is coming down fairly heavily. Its very heavy and wet. I am sure it will not "stick" around for very long as the ground is fialry warm.....
The current temperature is 32.9 and the barometer is steady and 27.23.

Hey this week we had a couple of nice days in a row, upwards of seventy degrees. Then it cooled right off with it being very overcast. Over temps have been close to freezing, but not really below freezing.
Its currently driizling and a about 38 degrees. Barometer steady at 27.05. There is still about six feet of snow in my front yard. All ski trails shoudl be pretty safe for skiing this weekend!

06.04.2009 0630 First Hummingbird!
The first hummingbird for the summer season showed up very fittingly yesterday at about 1245!
I will continiue to post to this weather blog about once a week, on or about Friday, in time for weekend recreation!
Of concern to most people is the snow melt that will be occurring.
CUrrent temp is 23.2 F, with the sun showing signs of making an apperance here in a little bit. Barometer is steady at 27.40.

05.04.2009 0700 Gorgeous!
Currently the temperature is 33.3 degrees. It looks to be a repeat of yesterday’s gorgeous weather as it is mostly clear with it looking like sun will be coming out shortly as I am anxiously awaiting the arrival of the first hummingbird here at my house for this year! The barometer is a steady 27.37.

Currently the temperature is 16.0 degrees. It is mostly clear with it looking like it will be a gorgeous day out as soon as the sun comes out. The barometer has risen and is now steady at 27.34

During the day yesterday we had 4-6 inches of new snow. Last night there was about 12-15 inches of new snow. Currently it is still snowing, albeit lightly. The temperature is 30.2 F. The barometer is 27.05 and rising.

We had about six inches of snow last night. I think that there might have been some rain as well. Currently there is snow, and it appears to be heavier and wet. I am running out of places to store snow. Does anyone want some?????
Current temp is 34.0 F and a steady barometer at 26.78.

01.04.2009 0720 THREE FEET OF NEW SNOW!!!!!
Wow! The weather guys sure missed this one. They said something about 8 inches of new snow, but as it turns out we got THREE FEET - That is fairly common for a January or possibly February storm, but come on folks MARCH?????? Let's be real. Oh that's right today is April fools day!!!!!!!
Did I get you? In all seriousness, we had about 12 inches of new snow yesterday and another 2-3 inches last night. There is occasional snow flurries. The current temp is 27.5 F and the barometer is holding steady at 27.14.
